“Our nation enters this conflict reluctantly — yet, our purpose is sure. The people of the United States and our friends and allies will not live at the mercy of an outlaw regime that threatens the peace with weapons of mass murder.” -President George W. Bush, in March 20 address to the American people.

Reluctantly? W/C [word choice], Mr. President. Instead, try:

Our country enters this conflict -> eagerly, persistently, enthusiastically, desirously, joyfully, impatiently, ardently, doggedly, obdurately, fervently, zealously, fervidly, intently, intensely, stubbornly, mule-headedly, uncontrollably, hungrily, imperatively, intractably, extravagantly, rashly, incautiously, recklessly, precipitously, arrogantly, imprudently, high-handedly, obstinately, irrepressibly, with abandon, and/or unfortunately.

Any or all of these will do.
